OUR SAGA
Built by a small group of Viking history enthusiasts and living history demonstrators, Sea Wolf Voyages was born on the shores of Puget Sound and the surrounding lakes and waterways of the Pacific Northwest.
We continue to grow as an ever-expanding community of educators, craftspeople, mentors, artisans, and scholars, working with other organizations, living history groups, museums, and local partners through collaboration and shared purpose.
By combining the study of time-honored written history with hands-on practice using the tools, traditions, methods, and vessels of early medieval peoples, we re-learn what our ancestors once knew—and what history has since forgotten. This process invites reflection on our own modern lives and how we might revive a culture of building through collaboration.
From close brothers and sisters to distant cousins across the Pacific Northwest, SWV has become an extended village of like-minded individuals united by a shared passion for history, traditional craftsmanship, community, and the Sea.
